  1. Customizing your Mac DeskTop Icons is an easy task!
  2. Here's simple instructions on how do it;
  3.  
  4. 0.) Don't be scared - I'll hold your hand through it.
  5.      If anything wierd happens, just reboot and try
  6.      the procedure again. I'll be RIGHT HERE.
  7.  
  8. 1.) Select one of the nice new "SelectIcon".
  9.  
  10. 2.) Under the File Menu, go to "Get Info".
  11.  
  12. 3.) See the picture of the icon at the top left 
  13.       of the "Get Info" window? Click on it once. 
  14.       You'll see a thin frame border appear around
  15.       the representation of the icon. Good!
  16.  
  17. 4.) Under the Edit Menu go to "Copy".
  18.  
  19. 5.) Close the Info Window.
  20.  
  21. 6.) Select the old drab icon that you want
  22.      to replace.
  23.  
  24. 7.) Under File Menu, "Get Info".
  25.  
  26. 8.) Select the picture of the icon at top left
  27.      of this Info Window.
  28.  
  29. 9.) Under Edit Menu, go to "Paste".
  30.  
  31. 10.) Close that info window and the change is done!
  32.  
  33. Now - Go tell everybody that you learned something new today!
